Ljudan Michaelis-Thorpe
Ljudan is a Bidjara/Dhunghutti woman passionate about bringing forth the voice of First Nations women to tell their stories through screen and creative media as film practitioners and entrepreneurs. She has a Master of Screen Production from Griffith Film School, Bachelor in Indigenous Studies and sits on the WOmen In Film and Television Australia (WIFT AUST) board as the Indigenous Lead. Ljudan has a diverse slate of film/screen projects that she is developing for the National and International market. She delivers training programs through her social enterprise arm of her new start up W.I.S.E. (Women in Screen Enterprise). She is also one of the founders and producers of the WIFT Women's online film festival (WIFT VFEST). And last but not least she is a devoted parent to her two daughters in highschool committed to shaping a future with content on screens that reflect the power of being a women in an equal world.
